Hi. I am Vera, a Simmer of almost 10 years. I used to go by the name Sparrow in the Simming community until recently when I changed my online moniker to Altaia.

I discovered The Sims when I was visiting a friend in my grade school years. With my friend, I played The Sims 2, the first Sims game I ever played, and discovered my fear of the ol’ Grim Reaper. I used to be afraid of poor Grimmy all the way to middle school when I picked up The Sims 3. (Who am I kidding though? Even now, as a 20-something-year-old adult, Grimmy still creeps me out, heh.) Later on, I picked up The Sims 4 and fell in love with machinima making. I used to enjoy making short films with Sims until university hit me. My YouTube channel is still up but it is inactive.

Outside Sims, I enjoy cooking, drawing, and creative writing. I occasionally post my doodles on Instagram on my art account, linked above; feel free to follow it to keep up with my progress. I am planning a makeover for this blog, so stay tuned for that.
